Our main operation site is located in Retalhuleu, Guatemala. With the purpose of satisfying globalized market demands, we have extended our operations to Nicaragua, Paraguay and Bolivia, by the name of Agroexportaciones del Sur.
We are able to develop supervised plantations with specialists to preserve the genetic characteristics of the varieties. We are able to obtain certified seeds with natural processes, not transgenic.

Our strict control and documentation of the different steps that take place from planting the seed, handling after harvest, cleaning, storekeeping, fumigation, and shipment to final destination (Traceability Plan).
Our training program adapts farmers to the correct use of fertilizers, chemical products and adequate handling of plagues, under the agricultural production for human feeding norms (EPA Standards).

UNIEXPORT was founded in 1992 with the main purpose of capitalizing on our founders experience and know-how of handling natural sesame seed. Our main focus has been the Japanese market. Since 1969 our partnership has been contributing to the maturity of the Japanese market, known for its high standards in taste and quality. Our founders are known for being the ones who gave birth to natural sesame seed exports according to type and own characteristics of the varieties that are cultivated in Guatemala.
Itochu Corporation has been its counterpart in Japan. Itochu has identified the buyers who required food grade differentiated sesame that fulfills certain standards of quality and purity.
